Mango key lime pie with a Galletica Maria crust


Galleta maria crust

  • 1 ½ cup Galletica maria crumble

  • 7 tbsp. Good quality butter

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

Pie filling

  • 2 cans of leche condensada

  • 1 ripe mango (purred in food processor)

  • 1 cup of key lime juice

  • 4 egg yolks


  1. Using a food processor, grind up you galleticas maria to make a crumble.

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together your cracker crumble, melted butter and sugar until combined. The mix will be thick and sandy.

  3. Press your crust into a 9 inch pie dish. I like to use a measuring cup to help press it down to make it tight and compact.

  4. Pre-bake your crust at 350F. For 8-9 min.

  5. In a mixing bowl, add your pie filling ingredients & mix until well combined.

  6. Add your filling to your pie dish & bake at 350F. For 20 min. Let cool for 30 min. on a wire rack and refrigerate for an hour before eating. Top it off with some whipped cream & lime zest.
